Heavy-Duty Rotary Tiller for Medium-Large Tractors

Powerful soil prep made easy — ideal tillage for farms, large gardens, and landscaping projects.

The BEFCO Till-Rite T70 is a robust rotary tiller engineered to deliver serious soil-preparation performance for tractors in the 40–70 HP (30–52 kW) range. Built to handle demanding agricultural, landscaping, and ground-preparation tasks, the T70 is suitable for everything from seedbed tiling and field prep to breaking up compacted soil and mixing in organic matter or amendments.

With its heavy-duty gearbox and shielded PTO shaft, the T70 ensures smooth and reliable power delivery even under heavy loads — giving you consistent, uniform tilling across large areas. Adjustable side-skids allow you to dial in working depth from 0″ up to 8¾″, letting you adapt to different soil conditions, from light garden beds to tougher, compacted soil. And with the option to run the tiller in forward or reverse rotation, you get flexibility in how you treat debris or rocks — either burying them or surfacing them for removal.

Till-Rite T70 Key Features

High-Strength Gearbox & Durable Transmission

Befco’s in-house engineered gearbox — paired with a lateral ASA #100 chain-drive in an oil bath — delivers smooth, dependable power transfer for long service life and minimal downtime.

Adjustable Side Skids for Depth Control

Side skids can be adjusted to control tilling depth from surface level down to 8¾″, giving you flexibility across soil types and planting needs.

Heavy-Duty Shielded PTO Shaft with Slip Clutch Safety

The 1 3/8″ ASAE Cat. 6 shielded PTO shaft with slip-clutch protects your tractor and tiller from overload — providing safer operation even under tough field conditions.

Six-Blade-Per-Flange Rotor for Finer Soil Pulverization

A standard rotor design with six heavy-duty blades per flange produces finely pulverized soil, improving seedbed quality, aeration, and soil mixing for planting or landscaping.

Forward or Reverse Rotor Rotation

Choose forward rotation to bury rocks and debris, or reverse to bring them to the surface — giving you control over soil cleanup depending on your project needs.

Easy Maintenance: Flanged Rotor Shaft & Quick Blade Service

The flanged rotor shaft allows quick removal of the rotor for blade maintenance or replacement — reducing downtime and making upkeep more convenient.
