Perfect for compact tractors — durable, versatile, and built for precise soil cultivation.
The BEFCO Till-Rite T30 is a heavy-duty rotary tiller engineered for tractors with 16–30 HP (Category 1 three-point hitch), built to deliver dependable soil preparation for gardens, small farms, landscaping, or light-duty farm fields. Its robust design and construction — including a reinforced chain-drive transmission, high-carbon solid-steel rotor shaft, and heavy-duty full-size blades — make it well-suited to breaking, aerating, and mixing soil thoroughly and efficiently.
With a manual side-shift system, adjustable depth control via skids, and compatibility with standard PTO speeds (540 or 2000 rpm), the T30 gives operators flexibility to adapt to different soil conditions, terrain, and tilling needs. It can also be configured for forward or reverse rotor rotation — useful for burying rocks or bringing them to the surface depending on soil prep requirements.
Available in multiple working widths (34", 42", 50") and driveline/gearbox configurations (shear-bolt or slip-clutch, 540 rpm or 2000 rpm), the T30 series lets you choose the model that best matches your tractor size and tilling task. Whether you’re working compact garden plots or wider fields, it balances maneuverability and performance.
Durable Gearbox & Drivetrain
The gearbox is built in-house from high-strength steel with cooling fins to reduce heat buildup. The reinforced lateral ASA #60 chain-drive transmission runs in an oil bath — ensuring smooth, efficient power transfer and minimal maintenance even under heavy use.
Adjustable Working Depth
Side skids offer infinite adjustment between 0″ and 7 ¼″, allowing precise soil penetration — ideal whether you’re doing shallow top-soil prep or deeper tilling for new beds.
Manual Side-Shift for Flexibility
The built-in side-shift system enables offset tilling — useful for working beside tractor wheels, fences, or other obstacles — without repositioning the tractor.
Heavy-Duty Rotor & Blades
A high-carbon solid steel rotor shaft and heavy-duty full-size blades resist bending or wear, enabling reliable soil turnover. Outward-turned blades keep the rotor supports clean and maximize effective working width, improving efficiency and reducing clogging.
