The Swisher 14 Person ESP Safety Shelter — Residential Capacity is engineered to provide exceptional protection against the most intense tornadoes, including EF5 tornadoes with winds reaching up to 250 mph. Constructed from heavy-duty 3/16” carbon steel with powder-coated surfaces and Grade 5 hardware, this storm shelter offers both strength and durability to keep your family and valuables safe in extreme weather conditions.
This shelter features an innovative sliding reinforced steel door that does not swing inward or outward, maximizing usable space inside while minimizing the risk of entrapment from debris. Equipped with multiple locking mechanisms—including a security-grade deadbolt, three steel pins within a deep steel jamb, and an additional internal locking pin—it ensures enhanced security from unauthorized entry while allowing quick and easy operation from the inside.
