The Maxim 48 in. spike aerator is built for property owners, turf crews, and acreage maintenance teams that need to open compacted soil without leaving plugs scattered across the lawn. Its spike tine design slices narrow holes into the turf so oxygen, water, and nutrients can reach the root zone while the surface heals quickly.

A 48 in. aerating width helps cover larger lawns, parks, commercial properties, and golf-course-style turf efficiently. The drum can carry up to 32 gallons of water for 267 lb of added ballast, giving the spikes more penetration in firmer soil when extra downforce is needed.

This model combines tow-behind and 3-point hitch mounting, welded steel tines, transport tires, a 1 in. drum shaft, and greasable ball bearings for practical field service. It is made in the USA with U.S. and imported components.
