Multi-Position Disk Angle Adjustment
A simple pin-and-arc system lets you set disk angles at straight, 5°, 10°, 15°, or 20° — matching aggressiveness to your soil type and task. Use a steep angle for breaking new ground or a minimal angle for no-till overseeding without disturbing existing forages.
Heavy 18″ Notched Disk Blades at 6″ Spacing
The 9-gauge notched steel blades are spaced at 6 inches instead of the industry-standard 7-1/2 inches, putting more cutting edges across the working width. The result is a more thorough cut that requires fewer passes to achieve a well-prepared seed bed.
Top-Link Pitch Control
Adjusting the three-point top link tilts the entire unit forward or back, controlling how deeply the disks engage the soil. You can run full-depth disking, a balanced mid-range cut, or lift the disks completely off the ground to use only the cultipacker for firming the seed bed before planting.
Adjustable Center-Ripper Shank
A depth-adjustable ripper shank breaks up the strip of undisturbed soil between the two center disk blades, ensuring complete tillage across the full width. It removes easily with two bolts when not needed.
Heavy Cast-Iron Cultipackers
Notched cast-iron cultipacker wheels eliminate air pockets, crush clods, and level the soil into the firm, uniform seed bed that is essential for high germination rates. Standard 9-inch wheels are included on 4 ft, 5 ft, and 6 ft models, with an optional 16-inch upgrade for sandy or extremely loose soils. The 8 ft model comes standard with 16-inch cultipackers.
Accurate Ground-Driven Seeding System
The seed metering system is driven by ground contact, so seed output matches your travel speed automatically — when you stop, the seed stops. It handles everything from tiny clover seeds to corn and soybeans. A simple linkage handle on the seed box adjusts metering openings in 1/16-inch graduations for precise rate control.
Wind-Protected Seed Baffle
